Mother makes ‘big change’ to open new dog grooming business – South Wales Guardian

A mother made a ‘big change’ in her life to open a new dog grooming business in Llandeilo last month.
On February 12, Emily Peake Pitman introduced Dainty Demons to the community – a business that offers nail clipping, bathing, shedding and full grooming services for dogs.
After working for 12 years as a property manager, Emily decided to change her career.

I have felt very welcomed by the people of Llandeilo. Everything has been so supportive, especially as I grew up just outside the town in Llanarthney.
“I loved my previous job, but things changed in my life, and it was time to retrain in a different sector. It was a big change. But I am happy to be opening a new business in Llandeilo.
“It’s a great opportunity and it’s a great place to be. It feels great to have something here. For the moment, I just want to keep going by looking after the dogs that are sent to me and by being here for locals.
“It hasn’t been easy, but everything is a challenge in life, which is what I enjoy. Since opening my business my experience with the council has been positive as well.”

Following the opening, Emily also posted on her Facebook page: “It’s been a long road getting here but the shop is finally done.
“I’ve had a lot of help from friends and family and appreciate you all for everything you have done for me.
“I can’t wait to meet all your furry demons in the coming weeks. If you would like to book, please drop me a message or pop into the shop to say hello.”
The grooming service at Dainty Demons focuses on enhancing dog’s natural beauty, the bathing leaves them clean and refreshed while the nail trimming or ‘paw pedicure’ ensures dogs nails are healthy and well-maintained.
Furthermore, Emily offers a specialist service for puppies with the aim of setting a positive foundation for a lifetime of grooming sessions.
