MADISON, Wis. — The Public Health Madison and Dane County said on Tuesday that the department is looking to gather more information about a dog that bit a woman and attacked another dog Monday.
According to public health officials, the bite happened when the dog ran away from its owner at around 5:30 p.m. near the Concord and Mayfair Avenues intersection.
The dog is a pit bull that is brindle-colored, and its owner is a middle-aged man. At the time of said attack, the owner had another white pit bull that did not participate in the act.
The bite victim may be required to complete a series of shots to prevent rabies if the dog is not found.
