A woman was taken to a hospital in critical condition after she was attacked by her own dog Saturday afternoon in west Wichita.
Emergency crews were called to the 2900 block of West Murdock around 4 p.m. and they found a 40-year-old woman with severe injuries.
Police and animal control officers were on the scene and they are continuing an investigation.
