The world’s most expensive dog has sold for a staggering £4.4million — and is thought to be one of a kind.
The “wolfdog”, called Cadabomb Okami , has been sold to Indian dog enthusiast S Sathish for the seven-figure sum which is equivalent to 500million rupees.
Okami is a cross between an actual wolf and a Caucasian Shepherd which is native to the Caucasus region, notably Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Dagestan.

At just eight months old he already weighs 75kg and stands at 30 inches tall, The Sun reported.
Sathish, 51, is a renowned dog breeder from Bengaluru in southern Karnataka in India and owns more than 150 different dog breeds. He is also president of the Indian Dog Breeders Association.
Speaking about Okami, Sathish said: “He is an extremely rare breed of dog and looks exactly like a wolf. This breed has not been sold in the world before.
“The dog was bred in the US and is extraordinary. I spent 50 million rupees on buying this pup because I am fond of dogs and like to own unique dogs and introduce them to India.”
Okami has already gained significant attention in Karnataka, with Sathish showcasing him at various high-profile events, including film premieres, according to The Sun.
The dog breeder earns between £2,200 and £9,000 for showcasing his rare dog breeds at events, noting that people are “always curious to see them”.
At his kennels, Sathish also keeps a rare Chow-Chow which bares a striking resemblance to a red panda. The dog was bought for more than £2.5million last year.
Caucasian Shepherds were originally bred to guard livestock and property from predators like wolves and bears.
