WICHITA FALLS, Texas (KAUZ) – The Wichita Falls Police Department has shared details on a child’s death following a dog attack on Sunday evening.
WFPD said around 5 p.m. officers arrived on the scene of a home on the 1000 block of Wesley Drive. Officers said a dog was able to bust out of the kennel it was in and later attacked a two-year-old child.
The child was taken to the hospital and later passed away from injuries sustained in the attack.
This is an ongoing investigation with WFPD, other details in this incident have not been released.
