A VET has revealed five dog breeds which scare him when they come into his practice.
Dr Amir Anwary, known as @amirthevet online, has caused controversy with the dogs listed in his most recent TikTok video.
In the video, Dr Amir said that the dogs he finds the fifth scariest are chow chows.
Chow Chows were used as guard dogs during the Han Dynasty 2000 years ago, due to their powerful and muscular build.
The breed can grow up to 20 inches in height, and have large black tongues.
However, despite Dr Amir's comments, they are reportedly one of the easiest breeds to house train.
Next on Dr Amir's list is the Cocker Spaniel.
Cocker Spaniels are a popular choice for family pets as they are known for having a cheerful temperament.
However, they can be prone to sudden aggression, without reason, which is called Spaniel Rage or Cocker Rage.
Rottweilers are often used as protection dogs, and work with the police and the armed forces.
They require a lot of training, from expert dog owners, and can pose a threat if not trained properly.
Chihuahuas may be tiny, but they have a real attitude.
They are also prone to behavioural problems such as begging, separation anxiety, and even biting and nipping.
Dr Amir said that the dog breed which scares him the most is the Belgian Malinois.
These dogs are often used to herd sheep, or as guard dogs.
Dog experts, Tug-E-Nuff, surveyed the UK to find out their favourite dog breeds, here’s the top ten.
They can run extremely fast, and are very protective animals.
Dr Amir's video has likely struck a chord with many people, as it has racked up over 1.2 million views.
TikTok users raced to the video's comments section to share their thoughts, and opinions were divided.
One person said: "As a vet tech I’ve never met a Chow Chow that didn’t try to eat us.
"At this point we automatically do caution protocol for them."
A second person said: "Why Cocker Spaniel? Ours were so calm and friendly at the vets."
A third person said: "Oh please. Leave cocker spaniels alone. They are loving dogs."
A fourth person said: "Rottweilers are the most loving dogs I have ever met."
