UPDATE: Dogs #28 and #56 were both adopted, according to an update from Cleveland Animal Control’s Facebook.
The center posts all pets urgently needing adoption on their Facebook page.
UPDATE: After the adoption of dogs #12 and #19, Cleveland Animal Control said they delayed euthanization of dogs #28 and #56 to the end of the day Wednesday.
The center has dozens of other dogs that have been surrendered by their owners or turned in, and they are always posting pets available for adoption on their Facebook page.
Niko, dog #28, was illegally dumped and found running to the shelter’s gate with his already adopted companion.
Lastly, dog #56, a female mix that was found on Tennessee Nursery Drive, is marked as urgent.

“He has been a good boy during his stay, but is depressed and would love a forever family,” Animal Control said in a Facebook post.

Each dog has recently lost weight, and developed some sores on their ankles from excessive chewing.
All adoption fees are $50, which includes a spaying or neutering operation, the first set of shots, deworming medicine, and a rabies vaccination.
There are dozens of other dogs available for adoption or rescue.
