Ali Tisdall, who lives on a farm in Spring Creek, North Carolina, has always had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. Over time, her passion led her to create a rescue organization dedicated to helping dogs in need. This love for animals didn’t stop there. Ali also launched Pretty Sweet Acres, an online shop for farmers and country-life enthusiasts. However, the story took an unexpected and heartwarming turn when she brought goats into her growing animal family. Many of the dogs Ali rescued have become permanent residents on her farm, earning them the affectionate title of “foster fails.”
Life on her farm is filled with daily adventures alongside her furry companions, but one day, something completely unexpected happened that caught her by surprise. While out for a routine jog down a country road with her dogs, Ali glanced back — and to her astonishment, her goats had joined in on the run.
Ali couldn’t resist capturing the amusing moment and shared the video on Instagram under her account, @prettysweetacres. “I guess I run with goats now ,” she joked in the caption. In the video, a bewildered but amused Ali can be heard exclaiming, “My goats won’t stop following me, you gotta be kidding!” Despite the surprise, she carried on running, clearly enjoying the unexpected company.
As they made their way down the road, the unusual running crew attracted plenty of attention. Animals peered through fences to greet the group, while passing cars gave them a wide berth, likely wondering what on earth was happening. For Ali, though, reaching the “finish line” together made the day unforgettable. What started as a simple run turned into a unique and joyous experience, leaving her with a newfound appreciation for her quirky goats.
When Ali posted the video, it quickly gained traction online. People from around the world chimed in with their amusement and admiration. “This is hilarious ,” one person commented, while another joked, “The dogs are wondering why the goats get to be off-leash .” Someone else added, “This is the only run club I want to be a part of.”

Although the idea may sound unusual to some, Ali’s video has sparked interest far beyond her small community, with many people expressing excitement at the thought of joining in on the fun.
