WILLIAMSBURG — There’s a new dog in town and it is a dapper one — Top Dog Grooming.
“We are a family-owned business that grooms both dogs and cats. All of our groomers are trained and certified through the top grooming school in the nation, Paragon Pet Grooming School,” said manager Anna Chau.
The shop officially opened in Lightfoot, off Richmond Road, on Sept. 18 and caters to both canines and kitties. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted by the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, Oct. 4.
Delegate Amanda Batten and Chris Johnson, James City County Director of Economic Development, were on hand with Lauren Moore of the Greater Williamsburg Chamber of Commerce for the event.
“Our love of animals drove us to open a private salon to create the best environment for non-rushed, detailed, loving care for our customers’ animals. We pride ourselves in providing high-quality grooms as well as prioritizing the safety and well-being of the animals in our care. We try to make our space as stress-free as possible.” Chau continued, “We look forward to continuing to build great relationships with our new and familiar clients and their animals.”
The business stated it will be working with local animal rescue group Homes Fur Hounds to assist in grooming needs for their dogs.
