A dog grooming salon now has the ability to recycle waste dog hair in ten different ways, thanks to a partnership.
Vanity Fur VIP, based in Sherburn, has teamed up with Green Groomers Collective to benefit from the latter’s recycling capabilities.
Vanity Fur VIP owner Melanie Braddock said: “We are thrilled to join forces with the Green Groomers Collective.
“At Vanity Fur VIP, we have always valued our clients’ satisfaction, and now we can extend that satisfaction to the planet as well.
“By recycling dog hair in ten different ways, we are bringing sustainability right into our community.

Vanity Fur VIP is described as a dog grooming salon “dedicated to providing top-notch grooming services with high standards and ethics.”
Owner Ms Braddock holds two level 3 dog grooming qualifications.
Green Groomers Collective provides recycling programs that allow dog grooming salons to prevent waste from going to landfills.
