TRUSSVILLE — Scenthound dog grooming is opening a new location in Trussville later this year.

This is the fourth of twenty stores that business partners Jacob Lee and Brett Basik plan to open between Alabama and Tennessee.
“We are thrilled to be expanding into Trussville,” said Jacob. “Since opening the doors of our first store in Lee Branch in 2022, we now have almost 2,200 members of our Monthly Care Club and have had over 25,000 dog visits. Our focus on routine care and basic hygiene has resonated with the dog community in Birmingham, and we love making it easy for pet parents keep their pups clean and healthy.”
Scenthound focuses on five core areas of maintenance for the dogs in their care: skin, coat, ears, nails and teeth.
Monthly memberships start at $35 and include a bath, ear cleaning, nail clip, and teeth brushing. Haircuts and other services can be added on as needed.
The Trussville store will be located in the Hamilton Place shopping center off Hwy 11 between Smoothie King and Birmingham Orthodontics and is scheduled to open late December/early January.
