Mobile Pet Care Brand Wag’n Tails Announces CEO Transition from Dennis Gnetz to Josh White

Wag’n Tails, a pioneer in mobile pet care solutions since 1971, has announced that Dennis Gnetz, who has been instrumental in developing the mobile pet grooming industry, will retire as chief executive officer on February 28, 2025.
Gnetz will continue to contribute to the company as a member of the board of directors and will make select appearances at key industry events including Groom Expo and SUPERZOO later this year.
Effective March 1, chief growth officer Josh White will assume the role of CEO.
“I am honored to follow in Dennis’s footsteps and lead Wag’n Tails into the next phase of innovation and growth,” said White. “We will continue to build on the legacy of quality, customer service and industry leadership that has defined the company for decades.”
Gnetz, who took over the family business in 1999 and led the company through significant milestones including the expansion of mobile grooming vehicles and the development of specialized production facilities, released the following statement: “It has been a privilege to shape an industry and to see Wag’n Tails grow from a single grooming salon to a national leader. I am excited to support Josh and the team as they continue our mission to empower mobile pet care professionals.”
Founded in 1971 as a standard brick-and-mortar dog grooming salon, Wag’n Tails has long been recognized for its commitment to innovation and customer-first values. With more than 6,000 pet grooming and veterinary vehicles produced to date, the company continues to set the standard for mobile pet care solutions. Located in Granger, Indiana, Wag’n Tails remains dedicated to helping mobile pet care professionals succeed.
