The collaboration comes during the Horry County Animal Care Center‘s “Home for the Pawlidays” event. From Dec. 19-21, cats and dogs from the shelter are available to take home and returned from Dec. 27-30.
Those fostering animals will receive a bag that includes food, treats and other items.
Extended stays and free adoptions can also be arranged.
Officials said most dogs in the shelter have also gone through basic training in their interactions with staff and daily trips to its outdoor play area. Dogs from the shelter also know how to walk on a leash.
