MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) – Memphis Police Department has arrested and charged a man they say kidnapped a woman and held her captive in a dog kennel.
On April 24, officers received a call about a woman being treated at Baptist East Hospital.
Officers were informed by the woman that she had been assaulted and held against her will by a man.
According to MPD, Justin Livingston held the victim against her will for days and sexually assaulted her repeatedly.
The affidavit also says that Livingston forced the victim to stay in a dog kennel for several hours at a time.
After further investigation, Livingston was identified as the suspect and taken into police custody.
He is now facing charges for aggravated kidnapping, rape, domestic assault, and attempted second-degree murder.
