MADISON, Wis. — Public Health Madison and Dane County is looking for a dog that bit a person Sunday evening.
According to public health officials, the victim was out for a run when a loose dog attacked the victim at around 6 p.m. at the Jenni and Kyle Preserve park.
The dog has been described as the following:
The alleged owner was also described as a "middle-aged blonde white woman" who called the dog "Leo."
She was seen driving a dark blue sedan with a license plate starting with "AWX."
If the dog is not found, the bite victim may be required to complete a series of expensive shots to prevent rabies.
Those who have any information regarding this incident is being asked to call the Police and Fire Dispatcher at 608-255-2345 and ask for an Animal Services Officer.
