Jeremy Clarkson has revealed his dog has gone 'under the knife' after being rushed for emergency surgery.
Labelling it a 's**t week', it comes as the former Top Gear man revealed his own recent health problems after being rushed to hospital for a heart procedure days after his return from holiday.
Taking to Instagram on Sunday (20 October), Clarkson posted a picture of one of his two dogs called Sansa, named after the Game of Thrones character with his other pup called Arya.
Posting an image of her at the door to his back garden, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter wrote: "The poor thing is under the knife as we speak.

"She has pyometra. S**t week."
Sansa had been rushed to the vets after suffering from pyometra, which is a potentially life-threatening infection of the dog's uterus.
The condition must be treated quickly and aggressively, according to experts at VCA Animal Hospitals.
Fans of the pooch, who has appeared on Clarkson's Farm countless times alongside Arya, sent Clarkson their best wishes.

"I'm really sorry, I hope she recovers," one wrote.
And a second posted: "I work in a veterinary surgery and be assured she will be getting the best care. Fingers crossed she will be home soon and appreciate you all even more. Hope everything goes well and keep us posted."
Over on the Diddly Squat Farm Instagram, Lisa offered an update on Sansa. And the news was, thankfully, good.

"Sansa is home," Lisa wrote.
"Her operation went well, they removed her uterus, so no puppies, which is sad.
"But she is safe, which makes us happy."
Posting a video alongside the update, she showed Sansa wearing a dog surgery recovery suit while looking a little sorry for herself.

Speaking in the post, Lisa says: "You did so well little one. Shall we put you to bed?"
Responding, one fan said: "GIVE HER ALL THE TREATS!! It’s the law. I don’t make the rules!!"
A second wrote: "Glad she is okay; that sad face needs a lot of cuddles. Such a beauty. Speedy recovery, Sansa."

And a third, whose dog had the same condition, posted: "My Labrador had the same. We didn’t realise the severity either until the vet said over the phone she needs surgery now or she won’t be here tomorrow.
"She went on for another few years after surgery."
The weekend saw Clarkson reveal his own health issues, saying he had suffered from a 'sudden deterioration' while holidaying over the last few weeks.
"I woke on Wednesday morning not feeling too good. I was clammy and there was a tightness in my chest," he wrote in his Sunday Times column.
After initially ignoring the symptoms, he started to feel 'pins and needles' in his left arm.
The TV presenter was then taken to John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford in an ambulance for checks on his heart. Scans showed that one of his arteries 'was completely blocked and the second of three was heading that way'.
