DUBUQUE, Iowa (KCRG) – Staff with the Dubuque Health and Human Services Department are trying to verify a dog’s health status and vaccination history after a biting incident that happened over the weekend.
The Health Department said it happened on Saturday at around 2 a.m. in the 2200 to 2400 block of Lincoln Avenue.
Officials described the dog as a medium-sized dog with curly gray hair, a long tail and floppy ears.
After the incident, the dog ran southeast from the area.
Health officials are asking that anyone with information regarding the dog contact them at 563-589-4185 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Alternatively, people can also call the Law Enforcement Center at 563-589-4415 after hours or on the weekend to report any information they may have regarding this incident.
