ROCKLAND (WGME) – You know the Disney movie where Cruella de Vil tries to steal 101 dogs? Well instead of stealing them, one Rockland woman is inviting that many to her birthday!
Dog-lover Avis Tolman turns 100 years old this week and has plans for some special party guests: she is inviting well-trained and social pups from the Rockland area to attend her birthday party, and hopes at least 100 will show up!
Tolman will be celebrated at her home at the Bartlett Woods Retirement Community on March 20.
Tolman says dogs are her favorite animal.
"Yeah, I love dogs,” said Tolman. “They have some kind of spiritual connection with humans."

All dogs must be on leash, fully vaccinated and in good health, and will visit in two shifts. Puppies are welcome too, as long as they are twelve weeks or older!
