BENGALURU: A dog lover, Dr Punitha Rangaswamy, has filed a complaint at the Banaswadi police station, alleging that her community dog named Tiny has gone missing since November 15. She suspected that Anil, a resident of HBR Layout, may have harmed the dog and abandoned it elsewhere.
According to Dr Punitha, Tiny, the seven-month-old female community dog was last seen around 11 pm on November 14, but was missing the next morning. She claimed that Anil refused to share CCTV footage from his home, which has raised suspicions.
This incident has caused concern among local residents, as it’s reportedly the seventh dog to go missing in the area. Also, the mother of the missing puppy had also suddenly disappeared last year during Deepavali. Now the puppy is also missing.
There are three more stray dogs, and the woman is afraid that something will happen. She has alleged that Anil took the dog in his car and sought and investigation and strict action against the accused. Dr Punitha has urged the authorities to investigate the matter thoroughly.
