Dad opens new dog grooming business in ‘iconic’ Ammanford town centre – South Wales Guardian

A dad introduced a new dog grooming business in the ‘iconic’ Ammanford town centre earlier this month.
Lee Watkins-Jones opened Cwtsh Cwn in the Ammanford Arcade on March 1.
Originally from Ammanford, Mr Jones is proud to open a new business in the heart of the town.

I was thinking about opening this business for a few years, but the timing was not right until recently.
“It’s nice to add to the town and encourage more people to come in and visit. The arcade is iconic. My goal for now is to get the business up and running. Then, in the future, I also want to teach people how to groom their dog.
“I’m a dad so I’m still juggling this business with my other job along with looking after my children. Still, me and partner have five dogs of our own and we believed the time was now.”

Mr Jones confirmed Cwtsh Cwn was open with a post on Facebook on March 20.
“Hi all, I have recently opened a new dog grooming salon in the old arcade Ammanford I have been overwhelmed with the support and feel proud to be part of the arcade.”

Esther Alison Evans wrote: “Lee, thank you so much. Guto looks amazing. You are one brave guy. Only one person worked on him before. You are a lovely young man. I can still remember you as a lad starting on the van. Lee is an amazing person please support him.
Kayleigh Leanne said: “We absolutely think your wonderful Lee; you’ve helped Callie so much I’m forever grateful.”
Nicola Hire added: “Highly recommend Cwtsh Cwn. Ned looks fab after his visit.”
