News 13 is once again teaming up with area humane societies and animal rescue organizations to help find forever homes for pets in need!
The 6th annual News 13 Pet Project will be held on Friday, Oct. 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Hunter Subaru in Fletcher (220 Hunter Airport Drive).
This year we’ll have more shelters than ever participating, with dozens of adoptable pets available, many with reduced fees and gift bags.
In the past, the event has helped dozens of pets find new homes as well as collected much-needed supplies to assist local rescues.
This year, again, we will be filling a Subaru with pet food donations for our local shelters.
Anyone wishing to make a donation is invited out to drop off any self-stable cat or dog food. Bonus: you can take a look around at all the adorable pets up for adoption!

There will also be pet products and services available from local vendors.
Additionally, the DareDevil Dogs stunt show will be performing throughout the day with their tricks and jumps. There will be food samples and giveaways.
Plus, as always, News 13 will be on hand all day, meeting with furry friends and their owners!
