THE Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie is on the hunt for standout pooches to come be part of its inaugural Dog Lover’s Day.
The November 16 free event promises a full day of fun activities for four-legged friends and their owners, including competitions for best dog trick, best dressed and fastest through an obstacle course.
Puppacinos will be served in the Chocolaterie’s dog friendly café, along with brunch, lunch and famous sweet treats for their owners.
GORCI owner Ian Neeland said the first of its kind event was sure to get a “five paw rating.”
“We can’t wait to have fellow dog lovers enjoy a day of free fun in our beautiful landscaped grounds.
“And if your furry friend has a clever trick, is a whiz at obstacles or can strut their stuff on our ‘dog-walk’, enter them to win $50 chocolaterie vouchers.
“We hope this is the first of many we stage for dog lovers near and far.”
The competition program will be staged between10am and 3pm:
10am – Timed Obstacle Course (owner + dog on lead) for Small Dogs
11am: Best Dressed Dog Parade for All dogs
12 noon – Timed Obstacle Course (owner and dog on lead) for Medium Dogs
