Hounds Town USA Opens Third Colorado Dog Daycare and Boarding Location

Hounds Town USA, the daycare and boarding concept where everything they do is for the dogs, has opened its newest location that will service the Erie and Frederick communities. Conveniently situated at 3771 Monarch Street, Unit E, the new Hounds Town is owned by local entrepreneur Dan Gerner.
Gerner brings over 30 years of comprehensive management experience within the restaurant industry, ranging from fine dining to fast-casual concepts. His expertise encompasses key areas such as employee engagement, talent acquisition and development and operational efficiency. With a proven track record in overseeing all facets of business operations, including facility management and equipment maintenance, Gerner’s extensive background equips him with the skills necessary to effectively lead and grow his Hounds Town business.
“Dogs have always held a special place in my life,” said Gerner. “My first job was at a boarding facility, and as I explored my next entrepreneurial venture, Hounds Town immediately resonated with me. Their philosophy of fostering an inclusive, fun, and pack-oriented environment perfectly aligns with my values. I truly believe that dependable and accessible doggy daycare services are essential in every community, and I’m excited to bring this level of care to the community of Erie.”
Hounds Town USA offers a full range of services, including interactive dog daycare, overnight boarding and stress-free spa treatments, all designed to meet the physical, mental and social needs of dogs. Gerner plans to take an active role in the daily operations of the Erie location, ensuring that every pet receives top-tier care. By being hands-on and engaging with both pet owners and local organizations, Gerner aims to foster strong relationships within the community, making Hounds Town a trusted and integral part of Erie and Frederick’s pet care landscape.
